This morning I became sick. My entire body was sick. I couldn’t find my purse…I quickly and frantically searched before heading out the door. Jerry was driving so I didn’t need my drivers license, thank goodness. We went out for breakfast but I didn’t enjoy it because all I could think of was…where did I leave me purse? I was sick, literally. My entire body. I couldn’t think of anything else…just, where did I leave my purse?
The last place I used my purse was at the grocery store. The only place I could left it was in the basket after loading my groceries in my car. Another customer or the person taking the baskets back inside may have found it! But did they turn it in or did they keep it? I was soooo sick… After breakfast we drove to the store, I went immediately to customer service. No…it was not turned in! I became even sicker. Someone must have found it and kept it, rather than turning it in…! My credit card, driver’s license, cash, etc. I was praying constantly. But… oh, I was so sick…
We came home and both Jerry and I began searching again… Suddenly Jerry came to me proudly holding my purse up for me to see! The little monkey hanging from the chain was given to me by my sister, Lorraine. Now, she’s gone. The little monkey goes everywhere with me… My purse had fallen from where I always put it and was behind the door!!! Oh, thank you, Jerry!
Most of all, thank You, Lord! The lost has been found! Thank You, Lord!
Since you peeked into my “Rabbits and Rings” story recently you know how well I can sympathize with something lost or mislaid. I’m glad your story had a very happy ending, both for privacy issues and money but most of all for the sentimental value of what temporarily disappeared.

Thank you so much for commenting. It means a lot, as you know! My daughter told me to put my keys in my purse, not drop them into my pocket. That way I can’t leave without my purse, no matter where I am. I’ve doing that ever since! 🙂
