Christmas 2013

I love Christmas! I love decorating for Christmas! It’s a lot of work and it takes me days to get it right and get it done! I’m not done yet…

???????????????????????????????Our Christmas tree is hard to get a good picture of because it’s fiber-optic and blinks or flickers all the time. It’s beautiful and I love it but I haven’t been able to take a good picture of it. I only have angels and red balls on our tree. We bought this tree at a yard sale a few years ago! To make it even better…all the proceeds from the sale went toward the cost of adopting our two little Haitian grandchildren!

???????????????????????????????I’ve traveled to many different countries and have nativity sets from many countries. “For God so loved the world that He gave His only son” John 3:16.

This one is from Thailand given to me by son and daughter-in-law, Tim and Shauna.

???????????????????????????????

My little Eskimo’s and their wild life worshiping the new baby, Jesus!

???????????????????????????????

This one is from Haiti!

???????????????????????????????There are three sets here:

The top shelf is Native American!

The middle shelf is a set we purchased in Bethlehem!

The bottom shelf is a set of Middle East folks who came to worship the baby Jesus!

(Click on the pictures to see them up close and personal.)

???????????????????????????????

This is my curio cabinet with a set on each shelf.

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAMy mother gave this blue set to me. It’s precious to me!

???????????????????????????????My daughter, Pam, gave this dresser scarf to me a few years ago. I’ve never used it as it was intended…it’s too beautiful! I hang it every year.

???????????????????????????????I love this set on our TV. The lights around it were given to me by a friend many years ago. We still lived in our former home. She had used them with her own family and now her family was grown so she gave them to me so my family could enjoy them. She passed away several years ago. So this is a good reminder of her and her family. Every year I wonder if the lights will work…so far they still do!

???????????????????????????????This is our stairway all decorated. It’s quite festive…I think!

So…Merry Christmas to all!

I wish you would come and decorate my house 😉 The boxes are down from the attic, but that is about it. We are all working too many hours right now to bother with decorating.
