I love the sky, stars, moon, clouds, rainbows, meteors, sun…
In the early, early morning hours, 2:00 to 3:00 AM, I was up viewing the moon in my little viewing spot between the trees, from my upstairs loft window! I even took the screen off the window so I had a clear view for my camera.
But, alas, I still didn’t get very good pictures. I put it on the night setting but the moon was soooo bright I needed a little better camera to get a clear picture of the moon.
This is the first picture I took.
It’s now in the clearing.
This is the last picture. There were many, many more I’m not showing!!!
The moon was so bright I didn’t get a distinct edge of the moon. But for me, it was amazing!
I praised God because He is the Creator.

You’re right, Iris. I wish I had a better camera…I think I’d better be thankful for what I’ve got! It was an amazing sight to see the moon shining through the trees so brightly and then though my one clear spot. When we moved out here I could see the full southern sky from my window! Now, 17 years later I only have this one spot open! The trees have grown that much!

Hey Anita, was this the night when the moon was supposed to be really big? (im not sure what the actual name for it is). We went outside looking for the “big” moon but the sky was clouded over! 😦

Hi Laura! Yes, that was the night of the huge moon! It was really big and bright! I wish I had a better camera. It was so bright the edges of the moon didn’t even show with my camera. Sorry you had clouds.

That’s alright, at least I’m seeing it in Michigan 😉 do you know how often the huge moons come?
