With the house all power washed the next step is putting a coat of sealer on. We rented a scaffolding for this job. Gene is on the top and Pam is one section down, both are brushing a sealer onto the logs.
Jerry is touching up with stain where it was needed, later sealer will go on.
Pam is staining our park bench. Jerry is resting in the background.
Besides working for us this week, Pam is working at her job. Here she is involved in a conference call with work. She is the busiest person I know!
This is a very nice setting for working!!!
Jerry and Gene are moving the scaffolding, getting ready to do another section.
Tomorrow will be another day!!!
How often do you have to do the power washing, staining and sealing? Looks labor intensive!

Hi Iris! It should be done about every seven to ten years, so it was time. It’s a huge job and Jerry and I couldn’t do by ourselves. It’s really making a difference. At our ages we’ll probably never have to do it again! 🙂
