A friend of mine turned 99 years of age yesterday! That’s two people close to me turning 99 within two weeks! I’ve already written about my mother who turned 99 on March 16. This friend, Roger, turned 99 on April first! We’re quite a pair…his birthday is April Fools Day and my birthday is Halloween! Those are probably the two worst days on the calendar or the most fun days, depending on how you look at it! So yes, we make quite a pair! We have a lot of laughs and enjoy each other’s company. His birthday card was delivered, special delivery, by me! He and his wife are in my prayers daily.
Two friends came over for tea yesterday. They were both named Mary! They are both very attractive and sweet! But they are both so different! We had a lovely visit. They didn’t just come for tea… No, they had a reason for coming. They, along with their husbands, are hosting an international luncheon and are looking for some interesting ideas and items for decorations. They came to the right house! Jerry and I have been all over the world and happened to have just what they were looking for! This picture is just a portion of what I have!
Time goes by so quickly now days. The older I get the faster time goes by. I stay busy. I can’t help that. I’ve always been busy. When my children were small I was too busy. Too busy with life, much too busy, so that my children suffered. I should have spent more time with them. I thought I had to do all the things I worked so hard at. Now, looking back, I see that I put other things in front of my family, probably out of guilt. So now I’m guilty today because of past guilt! These are thoughts going through my head today and yesterday.
This morning Jerry and I went to Lanny’s for breakfast. Our favorite waitress waited on us. So the day started out right!
I’ve mainly worked on my computer today. I’m editor and writer of a newsletter, Prime Time News, as a lot of you know, that comes out bi-weekly. It’s something I enjoy doing but sometimes I’m left scrambling before the deadline. That seems to be the way it is with this issue! I was informed, late this afternoon, that this issue needs to be printed Thursday morning instead of Friday! Oh boy…well, it’s true…sometimes I work best under pressure! Let’s hope it’s true this time! But anyway, I know now that I’ll be on my computer most of tomorrow too.
Tomorrow I also go the the gym! What a great change of pace that is for me! I try to go three days a week. Yesterday there just wasn’t time. So only two days this week. Tomorrow is going to be a very busy day but I’ve got to go to the gym! My body gets a work out and my mind get a good rest! Just what I need…
I work better under pressure, too…must be genetic!!

It’s risky but it’s true! You know what I wish? I wish we wouldn’t have waited so long to get acquainted with each other! We have so much in common! My dad was right when he said LJ has great kids! 🙂

The very heart of your writing while aipearpng reasonable at first, did not settle perfectly with me after some time. Somewhere throughout the sentences you actually managed to make me a believer but only for a while. I still have a problem with your leaps in logic and one might do well to help fill in those breaks. In the event that you can accomplish that, I will undoubtedly end up being fascinated.
