An Iowa Girl

I’m an Iowa girl. That should make me a farm girl. My relatives were all farmers. Some still are… I wish I was a farm girl. I’d have made a great Iowa farmer’s wife!

I’ve never even lived on a farm! Even though I lived in Iowa I always lived in a town and city. But I love animals. All kinds of animals. My great-uncle Tony and great-aunt Pauline lived on a small farm near Cedar Falls, Iowa. They had goats. My cousin, Judy, and I loved to go to their farm and play with the goats, especially when the goats had kids!

I live in Michigan now and have since 1958. I’m a very happily married Michigan wife.

0206131656bToday I visited a friend who raises goats! They are so fascinating! I took some pictures of them. I’ll share them here. Click on the pictures to see them enlarged. Some were curious and wanted to know who I was!

  7. Yesterday, while I was at work, my cousin stole my iphone and tested to see
if it can survive a thirty foot drop, just so she can be a youtube sensation.
My iPad is now broken and she has 83 views. I know this is entirely off
topic but I had to share it with someone!
