Bernie is our watch dog today. He’s strictly an outside dog. He’s a St Bernard, but not a pure bred. I love him and I’ve posted about him before but since I’ve been writing about all of our dogs I thought I’d better include him again. We were so impressed with him, we brought him all the way from Iowa! One of my cousin’s gave him to us. He’s very patient. He does his job. He’s also very friendly!
Many folks are afraid of him, especially at first glance. We had a UPS man refuse to get out of his truck to deliver a package to us. A neighbor who walks frequently asked how we keep him fed and watered when we’re not always here!
Look closely and you’ll know our, not too well, hidden secret!

Yes he is a perfect dog! He doesn’t bark but seems to let you know when something’s wrong, he doesn’t beg for food he gets his food from nature and his baths from rain and entertainment from the weather he never bothers you but he loves you and he knows you love him also! Love you Syd ❤
