Thanksgiving Day is almost over for another year. And what a day we had! There were 11 of us in our little dining room!
Ted and his girls were here, Bella and Sydney.
Our Chinese friends came for dinner! Zach and Victoria are a couple. Brian, Andrew. This is our third year of sponsoring Andrew! Seated are another couple Kevin and Lily.They even brought some Chinese food to add to our table! It was so good!
Thank goodness I baked our pies (Jerry pealed the apples for me!) yesterday, apple and pumpkin pies and cooked the sweet potatoes. This morning I made the stuffing, roasted the turkey, made clover leaf dinner rolls, green bean casserole, mashed potatoes and gravy, fruit salad, candied sweet potatoes. I worked all morning long, then it was time to eat. Everything turned out really good! About a half hour and it was all over…! Then the clean-up…
This is Jerry and me. It was a wonderful day. The first Thanksgiving dinner for our Chinese friends. As we went around the table telling what we’re most thankful for, the main item was: friends! We can’t wait to get together again!
