Life Moves On

My world came to a grinding halt on September 4, 2012. That was the day my sister, Lorraine, died suddenly. I’m still grieving, however, returning home from Portland, Oregon, life began to resume it’s normal pace although with a subtle sadness that I can’t erase. I loved my sister…if you have a sister treasure her, talk to her, listen to her, pray for her, go to her…

Life must move on. Yesterday I filled in at a soup kitchen for four hours…it felt so good to be needed and useful. Where did those folks, so down on their luck, come from??? I saw so many when I was in Portland, Oregon but this is our fair city of Midland, Michigan…

My break from writing the bi-weekly newsletter has ended. I must get the next issue ready for publication.

It’s time to create our Christmas card. This year’s card will have a sadness to it that I can’t omit. Some folks I send to won’t have heard the sad news of Lorraine’s passing.

A trip to Colorado to visit my mother, age 98, will be coming up soon  in October.

Resuming my fall cleaning is a must. Remembering the good clean feeling when it’s finished pushes me on!

Starting our small group again after the long break of summer will be so good. We need the encouragement of friends.

Enjoying the fall colors and taking pictures to capture the beauty is a hobby I must get back into.

Enjoying life and my marriage to Jerry is gaining momentum! He’s been very patient with me. I love him…

great submit, very informative. I ponder why the opposite experts of this sector don’t realize this. You must continue your writing. I’m confident, you have a great readers’ base already!
