Sydney at Her Horse Show

Today we got up at before 5:00 AM to travel to the west side of the state to see our granddaughter, Sydney, perform on her horse and be judged. She did great! She came in third! If it had been at the Olympics she’d have won a bronze medal!

This was held at a beautiful horse farm. Sydney is 13 years old and is eager to learn.

Family members gathered from all directions! Auntie Pam even came from Chicago! She would get the prize for coming the greatest distance! We drove about two and half hours. Sydney’s other grandpa came from a town south of us. So it was sort of a small family reunion, all in Sydney’s honor!

Auntie Pam, yours truly-Me, Grandpa Jerry, cousin Haleigh, Sydney, Dad Ted, sister Bella, Mom Denise, and Grandpa Gary.

Even I got to help out. I love horses. After riding, Sarah needed brushing. Ted had me help Sydney, I loved it!

Brother and sister: Ted and Pam.

Auntie Pam and Haleigh.

Both grandpa’s came. Grandpa Archer, Sydney and Grandpa Cameron.

You got your pictures already? I thought it would take longer to get that camera developed. It was a fun day. Sydney placed third in one event and fifth in the other. She received 2 beautiful ribbons to add to her collection.

  2. Thanks for your comment, Pam. It was a very fun day. The surprise of seeing you there really added to the excitement! I paid for one hour development! Otherwise it would have been over a week before I got them! It wasn’t that much more either. I wish the pictures of Sydney on her horse were closer up though. But at lease I got some!!! 😉
