Happy Father’s Day

I miss my dad. He’s been gone now for six and a half years. My how quickly time flies.  He would have turned 96 in just four more days.

We had a nice dinner today with son, Rob, and his family. Jerry and Rob had gifts to open and cards to read. It was a fun day and the food turned out good too! Jessica and I both worked to make a good dinner.

With five children to boast about, Jerry has been a great dad. I’m proud to be married to him. We went for a ride in his MG yesterday and ended up at the A & W Root Beer drive-in for a root beer float!

What a wonderful Father’s day. Don’t you just love the root beer floats at A&W? Sounds like you enjoy rides in your red MG like we enjoy rides in the yellow mustang. Our hubbys have to have toys once in awhile, ha. They used to say “red and yellow catch a fellow.” We both certainly caught some great fellas, don’t you think? Priceless indeed.
