Reading

I read exciting, important, meaningful, action-filled books to our grandchildren, when I can, and to Jerry. I just ran across this picture of Sydney and me reading For This Cross I’ll Kill You by Bruce Olson. The name was changed on later editions to Bruchko. I’d forgotten Jerry took this picture of us. It’s a good memory for us.

Jerry and I are reading another book now. He only likes true stories. I can’t just pick up a good novel to read to him. It has to have been a true experience in someone’s life. I’ve always loved to read so this is a good way of binding us together, one on one.
