Old Cars

I’ve been going through old pictures and came across several old cars. My family seems to have liked cars right from the start! Can you identify them?

# 1 is a great aunt. I don’t know the car…

# 2 is my mother and her older brother, my Uncle Obie. I don’t know what kind of car it is. Do you?

# 3 are my great-grandparents on my mother’s side. Only a small portion of their car shows. The next picture is the same family and I think, the same car behind them.

# 5 is my second cousin, Howard. He was an only child. I think he must have been the envy of every kid on the block!

# 6 1926 Overland. It was the first car my great-grandparents bought. My great uncle Peter and my uncle Obie are in the car. Obie is the little boy. The next picture looks like the same car, only a different view.

I don’t know what the eighth car is. Do you?

The ninth picture is my great grandpa. The car isn’t in the picture very well but it looks different from the Overland.

I don’t know the tenth car either. Do you?

The eleveth picture is of my second cousin, Howard, and a new car.  What is it? This is the same Howard as in picture # 5!

The twelveth picture is of my great uncle, Will, and second cousin, Eldon, on my dad’s side of the family. The car? Hmmmm.

The last picture here is a Saxon. The only new car my grandparents ever bought. My dad is the boy standing on the running board.
