Momo’s

This is a very important, special, fun, informative weekend. Many folks are here, we’re keeping three in our home. They are so nice, helpful, loving and appreciative. We’re having a great time.

I was given a recipe for making Momo’s by friends in Nepal. My guests helped me and we finished putting them together after midnight Thursday! Pic 1 is of one ready to cook or in our case, ready for the freezer. We put them in the freezer until last evening. Normally they would be cooked right away but we had to make them ahead of time. So we started cooking about 45 minutes (because they were frozen) before we served them. They were very good and only lasted a few minutes! I admit I ate three!!!

Well, my pictures went in their own stubborn order again. Pic 2 is cutting out the shells. You can see the meat mixture in the bowl. Pic3 We put a dab of meat mixture onto each round piece of dough. Pic 4 is the finished product, being served and going fast! They only lasted a few minutes! Pic5 which should have been pic 2 shows mixing the filling. It’s ground beef, cabbage, onion, ginger, garlic and  more. Pic 6 is rolling out the dough. Pic 7 forming the dough around the meat filling.

If you’d like a copy of the recipe for Momo’s, please leave a reply and I’ll add it!
