Travel Log # 12 Haiti Part 3 Dessalines

We drove north from Port-au-Prince to Dessalines. We were headed for the Ebenezer Glenn Orphanage. We got so hungry driving we stopped and bought a big bunch of bananas from a person beside the road. She was glad for the sale! These pictures were taken in Dessalines and some outside in the country. They are all typical of life in Haiti. Be sure to click on pictures to see details up closer. The next to last picture shows a tarantula in the center. Every time we went to town we saw the little boy in his birthday suit and straw hat! I finally took a picture of him!
