Aanas Museum

When my second cousin died my brother and wife inherited his belongings. This is the actual telephone from the old farm. The pictures surrounding it are from the farm. There are two pictures of my mom here. One when she was about four holding her doll. One a few years ago inspecting the old phone! She remembers it from the farm!           Bill and Vel have turned the lower level of their home into a sort of family museum. Howard’s toys, Helen’s music, pictures. Helen played accordion and flute.  The doll shown here is in the picture of the family, being held by the youngest daughter, Julie. It’s quite a family museum! I’ve only shown part of it here. This was our mother’s family.

Wow, quite a collection Anita. Makes me want to get going on some of my boxes I’ve not opened since we moved. Boxes that have antiques in them from my mom and dad. Thanks for sharing.

It looks like it has grown since I was there. Vel does do a good job at organizing and displaying her collections.
