I started this post back when I was doing the travel log and saved this post to add to and finish later thinking it would fit in with the rest of the travel log but it didn’t. So I hope you can make sense of this and go down to the former travel logs.
We finally arrived at Camp Anjigami! What a beautiful camp! On the beautiful Lake Anjigami, near Wawa, Ontario, Canada.
Picture 3 Across the water we could see a high cliff and decided we wanted to climb it to get an overall picture of the camp. Our trusty leader, Jim, agreed to take us up. It was a challenging hill and cliff to climb…but we made it! We had a really good view of the lake, the trees and the camp. Jim, our leader is standing at the back on the left. Jerry is standing and has a red baseball cap on. I’m not in the picture because I took the picture! Across the water on the right you can see a sandy beach, that’s Camp Anjigami!
Picture 4 is another view of the lake and Camp Anjigami.
Picture5 Jerry and I stayed in the cabin, The Loon’s Nest, often a honeymoon cabin! The others in our group stayed in a beautiful, rather rustic lodge.
One day Jerry and I took a hike through the woods and found huckleberries. We ate and picked! I can’t remember what we put them into but we picked enough to take back to camp with us. I even baked a huckleberry pie in the camp owner’s kitchen! For those who don’t know Huckleberries are wild Blueberries. They are smaller and much tastier!
Great photos! I especially love the second last one; it reminds me of home 🙂
