Prime Timer’s Luncheon

Today we went to a Prime Timer’s Luncheon. Prime Timer’s is a nice name for folks over 50!  After dinner we played a game, Oldie’s Wed Game! It was sort of like The Newly Wed Game of several decades ago. Three couples were chosen to play. The wives left the room while the husbands were quizzed and then brought back in to reveal the answers the men gave! Then it was reversed and the men left while the wives were questioned. It was a lot of fun and brought many laughs! The couple that won were the couple on the right end.

There are host couples who decide what the menu will be. The menu, today,  was lasagna, salad, garlic bread, and dessert. The food is always made by the folks who come to the dinner. We sign up for what we want to bring. I took lasagna. The room was all decorated for Valentine’s Day. It looked very pretty all in red and white. There were over 40 people there, a few were guests. like grandchildren. We go all the way from 50 up to in the 90’s! The picture of the three ladies proves this, two are 90 and one is 87!

So you see, even though we’re at the far end of prime time in our lives we still have good times and lots of fun!
