Travel Log # 7 Jerusalem Part 18 Holocaust Museum

We went to visit the Jerusalem Holocaust Museum. A very sad time. I’m only posting two pictures here. I have several more. One building is a memorial for the children who died during the holocaust. It’s filled with mirrors thousands of mirrors. One candle is burning. It’s reflected in all the mirrors! The names of the victims are read one at a time. It’s eerie but I’m glad I went through it. There were other buildings as well.

Pic 2 is the grave of Corrie ten Boom in the cemetery. She’s in lot #205 if you ever go there and want to look up her grave. During WW II she and her family hid Jews in a hiding place in their home and were arrested. I Have a blog about it in my Travel Log 1 to The Netherlands.
