I was reading a favorite blog, lesliecarter, when I saw a picture of a buggy just like mine! So I took a picture of mine and hopefully my blogger friend will see it! My doll buggy came from my mother-in-law. My husband came home with it one day! I love it! I have no idea where she got it or how long she had had it. She ran a day care center so perhaps someone gave it to her. I’ve had it for many years.
No, I’m not in my second childhood! I just happen to love dolls! My sister, Lorraine, and I played for hours and hours with our dolls when we were kids.
This doll was one my mother-in-law gave to my daughter, Pam, when she was a child. No, it wasn’t new and it wasn’t a Christmas or birthday present. She just gave it to her. The dress the doll has on is one I made for my youngest daughter, Christy, when she was two or three. I also made one for my older daughter, Pam, and one for myself! All out of the same material.
I just noticed the black in the picture by the buggy. In case you wonder what it is, I’ll tell you – it’s a stone in the chimney behind the buggy.
