Thanksgiving Day 2011

Rob, Jessica, Hannah (Jessica's sister)

What a wonderful Thanksgiving Day we’ve had. Two of our five children, Ted and Rob, were here with their families. There were 11 of us all together. We had to sit at two tables but we were close enough to all visit together. The first picture is Armon, Isabella and Ted.

We shared in the responsibility of cooking the dinner. Jessica and Hannah made green bean casserole, candied sweet potatoes, and pie, pumpkin and apple. I roasted the turkey, made the stuffing, mashed potatoes and gravy and dinner rolls. It was a wonderful dinner.

We went around the table each saying what we’re thankful for. The normal ones were expected but then one came that surprised us all and pleased us! Elmise was thankful for her new name: Archer! That was sweet!
