I’ve been there…well, almost…

A beautiful sunset over the Indian Ocean.

Only one of many, many temples.

L-R: Me, Jerry, Annie, Tim, Pam, Gene, Shauna, Kaleb.

I hate spiders but I couldn’t resist taking this picture of one above me!

MalaysiaToday Matt Laur is in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. I’ve been close! I’ve been to Penang, Malaysia, an island where our son and family, Tim, Shauna, Annie and Kaleb lived for three years. We went to visit them and also for Kaleb’s high school graduation. Jerry and I went with our daughter and son-in-law, Pam and Gene. It was an unforgettable experience! I’m sharing some pictures to show a few of our experiences. Be sure to click on them so you can see them up closer. Then click on the arrow in the left upper corner to go back to this same page.

Psalm 139:7-12

7 Where can I go from your Spirit?
Where can I flee from your presence?
8 If I go up to the heavens, you are there;
if I make my bed in the depths, you are there.
9 If I rise on the wings of the dawn,
if I settle on the far side of the sea,
10 even there your hand will guide me,
your right hand will hold me fast.
11 If I say, “Surely the darkness will hide me
and the light become night around me,”
12 even the darkness will not be dark to you;
the night will shine like the day,
for darkness is as light to you.

A close-up of a woman who is very sincere in her worship. My prayer is that she will meet Jesus.

A Monkey in a tree above us.
