All In The Day Of Me

I do believe I’m getting well. I’ve only coughed a little. I’m wide awake today. I don’t think I’ve taken any naps, well, maybe one short one.  I’ve been so restless this afternoon, I finally got up and did some house work!!! It felt good. Jerry keeps warning me not to overdo. But I’m so restless. I’m hoping to go to church tomorrow…

My sister, Lorraine, called this afternoon. She’d forgotten I was sick when we talked last and couldn’t figure out why I didn’t call her! I suddenly started coughing and then she believed it when I said I’ve been sick. We both wish we could get together more. But with her living in Oregon and me in Michigan I don’t think it’s going to happen.

You would think when a person is sick he/she would spend lots of time praying. Well, that’s what I thought. But when I was so sick my mind didn’t work right either. I couldn’t concentrate on needs to pray about. A couple of requests came over facebook that were urgent and went straight to my heart…I prayed for those. A friend with cancer and the daughter of a friend having surgery. But my mind just seemed to wonder from one thing to another without any meaning. Now that I’m feeling some better and can concentrate I’m thinking that my prayer life is going to take off again… God understands!

I’ve been working on the newsletter all week, a little at a time. Now we’re nearing the deadline so I’ll have to work hard Monday through Thursday. But I’ll be all well next week…

So…before I overdo here, I’m going to go rest again for a little while. Then I’ll be up and attum again…

So thankful you are feeling better, Anita, and are the way to a full recovery.
I understand you’re statement about not being able to pray much while you were sick. That happened to me after we went through the flood. My mind just wasn’t functioning properly. So now when I hear about people going through severe trials, I try to not only pray for them, but pray in their stead, because I know that probably they are not able to pray.
    God Bless, Gail

Glad you are doing better Anita. I’ll pray that your body makes a good solid recovery and no relapses.

Our daughter is doing quite well and the surgery went so well. We will have her home tomorrow or Mon. and we pray that things will go well then too. God has been our help and peace.

Praying the newsletter work goes smoothly too, for you. Hugs, sue
