Where There’s A Will There’s A Way…

Today even though I’m not feeling well yet I went to take care of some errands. One was to stop at the store on the way home. While going down the pickle isle I spotted dill pickles. We both love them so even though they weren’t on my list I bought a jar.

We could not open it. Jerry tried and tried. I got out the sheet of something, I don’t know what. It’s supposed to open jars, etc. We both worked at it. It wouldn’t even budge. I thought we were giving up when Jerry disappeared.

He was gone a few minutes and then came back into the kitchen with his channel locks! He had gone out to the pole barn to his tool box! It worked! He got it! He got it! Where there’s a will, there’s a way!!!

Jerry using his channel locks!

This made me smile when reading this post. That was a most stubborn jar of pickles, but happy to see you got them opened. 🙂

  2. Guess I will go buy some channel locks…I have trouble with all kinds of lids!!! I find it frustrating!
