Family Supper

My younger brother, Bill, and sister-in-law, Vel.

My great nephew, Justin, and his girlfriend, Valerie.

Two of my beautiful nieces. Heidi from Colorado and Linda from Oregon.

Linda, Mabel’s traveling companion, and Mabel, my cousin.

Friend, Ellen, chatting with Luke. Mama, Becky, on the right.

Mother and Lorraine, my sister.

Friday evening we had a family supper with Mother in the nursing home. There were 15 of us related, including two little fourth cousins of mine, Luke and Sam! With three friends there were 18 of us. All four of us siblings, Richard, Lorraine, Bill and myself were there with our Mother. That doesn’t happen very often.

There were seven children in my dad’s family. My dad, Glen, was the youngest. Two of Dad’s siblings and himself were represented by off-spring at the supper! Mabel was the daughter of Floyd, Glen’s oldest brother. Luke, Sammy and Becky were great and great great grandchildren of Bessie, oldest sister of Glen. Richard, Lorraine, Bill and myself are all children of Glen, youngest child in his family. Linda, Lisa, and Heidi are grandchildren of Glen. Justin is great grandson of Glen. The most important one of all was my mom, Corina, widow of Glen.

The friends who were there were: 1 Valorie, Justin’s girlfriend.          2 Linda, Mabel’s wonderful traveling companion                      3 Ellen, Lorraine’s best friend from way back when they were teenagers! They were maid of honor in each other’s weddings! They are still best friends today! I, personally, hadn’t seen Ellen since about 1955! It was great seeing her again after all these years!

I had the wrong setting on my camera at first so a few of my pictures are blurry. I apologize.

Another beautiful niece of mine, Lisa, and her husband, Doug.

Sammy and great, great, great aunt Corina!

Mother and Richard, my older brother.
