All in the up and down day of me

Oh, what a day. It started out good. We went to Lanny’s for breakfast. It was so good. We enjoy taking grandkids when they clean up their plates with a smile! Sydney and Bella did just that!

We waited and waited for the dish installers to come. I was so excited! We were going to get more channels and for a cheaper price! Finally they came. Too many trees! Oh no. We also discovered this didn’t include the price of internet. I was sent in a downward spiral. What a disappointment.

So Sydney, Bella and I went to the Humane Society to walk some dogs. It’s a voluntary job that’s really needed. We could do that! Well, you have to be 14 to hold a leash, so I was the only one who could walk the dogs, the girls petted and talked to them. We walked two different dogs…one walked or RAN me!!! I’ll know not to take that one again, even though he was a sweet dog. The first one we walked was so gentle! We all loved her. She’d make an older couple or person a great pet. I’m not looking for a dog for myself but I will go to walk them again. I loved it.

Rob and Jessica and kids are leaving at 4:00 AM tomorrow to take Tyler to SAGU. That’s going to be a hard trip. We did this when Pam went to college in Kansas way back there. I remember what it felt like when we drove off, to come home, without her. It’s tough. They’ll be in my prayers every day, every night, constantly…

There must be a reason, God is in control. You may get a better deal than Dish.
Will be praying for your kids. It was hard for us and hard for our parents. But we all came through it and did well. Just the same it is an adjustment, and sometimes it takes a little time on both ends to adjust. Hugs, Sue
