We had a very big tall Maple Tree that was too close to our house in the back yard. Yesterday Rob, Jerry, and a friend, John, cut it down. These pictures are backwards. I never will learn how to put pictures in the right order. The picture with Elmise in the left hand corner shows the tree down. The narrower picture shows it starting to fall. It was so close to the house we were all nervous…but our guys did a great job! It fell into the woods. Now next year we’ll have some good hard wood to burn in our wood burner stove in the living room!

Wow -that was a big job! Glad all went smoothly and hopefully I can enjoy some of the warmth from that wood in a year.

You betcha you can, Pam! It was a big, risky job, but they had it tied off well and between the three of them it fell where they wanted it to. Thanks for commenting.

  3. Its like you read my mind! You appear to know a lot about this, like you wrote the book in it or something. I think that you can do with a few pics to drive the message home a little bit, but other than that, this is great blog. An excellent read. I will certainly be back. virtual private server | virtual private server |
