Grandma’s School Day # 26

Armon and I worked on a special project today and I can’t even say what it is here because the person we did it for might read this…! It’s to be a surprise! He did a very good job and I’ll write about it later! We also counted out the money equal to $1.00. He did good today and we’re both looking forward to tomorrow when we’ll get back to our normal routine.

Yesterday I saw something on sale that he wants really bad! A remote racing car! I bought a bright red one and it’s in the sun room where we hold Grandma’s School. It’s still in the box but he can see it. I hope this isn’t a bad thing to do…when he can read well, when he knows the color words and the number words, etc. he can have the car!!! It’s an incentive! for him!  Oh please don’t tell me I’m a bad grandma. I’m just trying everything I know to wake him up so he can smell the roses and learn to read!

I think that’s a wonderful idea! Sometimes with a prize in sight we put our mind to the task better. You are a great Grandma Anita!!!!

Nothing wrong with a little incentive to work towards…I need those kind of things as an adult too:).
