Grandma’s School Day #22

Well, today we started out looking at I Spy, the book I checked out of the library. Guess what, his teacher had that book so it wasn’t new to Armon. We went ahead and looked for the few things on page one. It was still good to focus on the items.

I read another chapter in the Uncle Wiggily book. He really likes that.

He did the next chapter in Aunt Lorraine’s book. He’s getting better at the writing of words.

Then we read another story in the New Dick and Jane book. He did pretty good. I read along with him so he’s not just stumbling along. When we come to words I know he knows I keep still and let him read.

This is a short week so now we have two off again. I’d like to sneak in a class tomorrow but he’s too smart for that! So…until Monday…

Thanks Ruth. I only hope it’s making a difference. Some days I think it is and then some days I wonder. I was hoping you’d be at camp. See you soon.
