Grandma’s School Week 4 Day #20

Back to school after a four day break. We had a good pleasant day. Just what I was hoping for! We talked about their camping trip for a few minutes. I read the second story in Uncle Wiggily’s Happy Days by Howard R. Garis. Armon dictated a story to me about cars. Then I got out our Dick and Jane Primer. He did pretty good for not having read for four days! When we finished the story I said, “Look, only one more story! Tomorrow we’ll finish the book!”

Armon said, “Oh Grandma, let’s keep reading and finish the book!” So we did. He’s so proud. Then we looked over the next book so he knows we’ll still be reading.

We went over all the flash cards. He usually doesn’t like this but today he didn’t object! I told you we had a good day!

We ended by looking at Grandpa’s photo album of all the cars he’s owned in his life time! Armon liked that!

I am enjoying this little Saga of Grandma’s school. Armon is so cute as he is learning. Look forward to the next post.
