Grandma’s School Day #18

Everyday we see Hummingbirds come  and go at our feeder.

Have you ever told your kids to change their attitude? It’s especially hard for girls, I think. But this morning I had to tell Armon to change his attitude so we could study.

He was sulking and in a bad mood. We were having a rough morning. He put his head down and I went over to sit in another chair to wait for him.

Suddenly his head came up and he had a smile on his face! He changed his attitude! I’ve never seen anyone make such a drastic change in a split second the way he did!

We went over his words and he wrote a story. I had a couple of papers ready for him to work on. He got them all right and I put a smiley face sticker on them!  Number words and color words. He’s learning. But he gets discouraged easily.

I’m looking forward to tomorrow. It’s going to be a good day!
